This  specialist course is sponsored by WoolSafe Organisation. There are a few WoolSafe instructors in the UK. Courses listed on our website are those run for WoolSafe by us in the south of the United Kingdom. This is a one day course. It is a more advanced course which gives a professional cleaner a deeper insight into the chemistry of working with wool and how it compares with other fibres.

There is an “open book” exam which students may take and submit within 30 days of the course date.

Students in the industry for more than 5 years, if they pass the exam, will have the option to join the WoolSafe Organisation as a WoolSafe Fibre Care Specialist and their company can become a WoolSafe Service Provider.
