VCRS Limited changed its name to The Restoration Academy UK Limited on 1st July 2015 to more accurately reflect the nature of the business which the company now conducts.

Previously, VCRS Limited, formed in March 2009, was actively engaged in the practical delivery of cleaning and decontamination services for both routine maintenance and insurance related work. Some consultancy and training services were also provided.

In 2013 it became clear that it was no longer practicable for VCRS to continue to provide these services as they conflicted with the independent consultancy services which had become a significant proportion of the work it was engaged in.

The new name, The Restoration Academy UK Limited, is now in line with the company’s activities which are now described as:
“Training and Consultancy for the Insurance Repair Industry”
